JAMMU: Patron, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party, Bhim Singh urged upon the President Pranab Mukherjee to invoke Section 92 of J and K Constitution (read with Article 370) without any delay in the interest of unity, integrity and sovereignty of the Union of India.
“The present government comprising BJP-PDP has absolutely failed on all fronts to govern the State of J and K as per mandate of the Constitution of India read with the Constitution of J&K,” he said adding that this is unfortunate that Union of India and its government has failed to appreciate the existing realities and political situation that has developed in J and K endangering internal and external security vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir. “It needs an appropriate action by the Union of India to ensure that security of the State is not endangered because of the utter failure of the Government of J and K,” he said adding that the situation of yesterday’s alarming situation created in the Valley of Kashmir cannot be ignored only because Prime Minister and his government are involved in the affairs of electoral battles in some states.
He said Panthers Party feels deeply shocked and shaken on the yesterday’s most tragic martyrdoms of Major Satish Dahiya (31) of Haryana, Gunner Astosh Kumar of Uttar Pradesh, Paratrooper Dharmender Kumar of Uttarakhand and Rifleman Ravi Kumar (33) of Samba, J and K.
The reaction of Army Chief, Vipin Rawat that, “We are giving them (stone pelters) an opportunity, should they want to continue to (do what they are doing now), then we will continue with relentless operations may be with harsher measures, and that is the way to continue”. This reaction from the Army Chief, Bhim Singh said, deserves a careful analysis and realisation by the power that be in the North and South Block. He urged the President to intervene into the situation that has brought entire State of J and K under the smokes and on the volcanoes.
“Dismiss the present government of BJP-PDP without any delay and advice the Governor of J and K to take over the Govt,” he said adding that this is the only way out to save J and K from a total disaster.
