JAMMU: Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI), Jammu, Arun Gupta appealed to the people to follow the path shown by great Indian saints to make the nation prosperous and peaceful. He made this appeal while inaugurating a Bhandara organized by Mahamandleshwar Mahant Rameshwar Dass for the Saints and Sadhus visiting Jammu for the ongoing Amarnath Yatra. Dr Satya Narayan and Mahant Rajesh Bittu were also present.
Arun Gupta highlighting the role of saints during times immemorial, he said that the saints have played a significant role in preserving the rich cultural heritage of India through their significant teachings and actions (Karma).
Saluting the great Indian saints, Arun said spiritual leaders including the saints can play an important role in making India prosper and modern. He lauded those saints who are already contributing a lot in this direction. “Our saints and seers are very noble and have always been compassionate towards society and the poor,” he added. Chamber President said that the world has been witnessing straying away of people from the path of virtuousness resulting in destruction due to wars, terrorism, etc. He lamented that despite all religions teaching to refrain from hatred or enmity there are frequent instances of clashes among people. He appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood at all costs. Be vigilant against anti social elements who are trying to create wedge between various communities in the society, he cautioned them. Mahamandleshwar Mahant Rameshwar Dass said that the holy Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is a symbol of communal harmony and brotherhood among different communities and the J&K Government should ensure a hassle free, safe and secure ancient pilgrimage that is being conducted this year after a gap of two years.
Mahant Rajesh Bittu said “We are committed to provide maximum facilities to the saints and Sadhus come from across the country for Amarnath pilgrimage.” He appealed to the come forward and extend all possible support in making this annual eventy a great success.
