DYSS picks Poonch students for Skiing courses after 3 decades

POONCH: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) picked young students from remote district of Poonch for the snow skiing course at Gulmarg after a long gap of three decades.
The 15 days snow skiing course has been is held every year under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports but with majority of the selections from the Kashmir. “It was after a long gap of nearly 30 years that the DYSS on the direction of Director General (DG), Dr Saleem Ur Rehman picked 10 students from Poonch. These students have been selected from different zones of the district,” informed District Officer, Mohd Qasim.
Earlier, the district officer flagged off these students amidst interaction.
The group of students is led by Rajinder Kumar (PEL).
