JAMMU: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanasthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Ek Saath Rang Manch (ESRM) and Unison Cultural Troupe staged 29th musical play ‘Badhaali Se Khushaali Ki Aur’ here on Saturday.
The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department, J and K Government and V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Ashish Gupta, Drugs Inspector, Dr Anju Dogra from Health Department, J and K Government, Vinod Dogra Chief Service Engineer, Exide and Vijay Malla Producer Director, IPTA were the Guests of Honour.
The Chief Guest lauded the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (NGO) for underlining the importance of staging such plays in several parts of State in generating awareness among the masses about various social evils through musical plays, theater and drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. ‘Badhaali Se Khushaali Ki Aur’ was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) while Raju Bajgal composed the music of the play.
The play highlighted the importance of literacy and education in eradicating superstitions and social evils.
Artists Usha Raina, Rajni Gupta, Romesh Chander, Shivani Disgotra Bodh Raj, Pooja Loach, Harjinder Kour, Anu Pandita, Nitin Pandita, Rakshit Sharma , Sunil Kumar, Dhruv Pandit, Samarth Gupta, Sanam Gupta, Vandana Gupta, Anantika Sharma, Shival Kumar, Rakesh Katoch, Ganshyam Yadav, L-Danika, Samrjeet Mohanty, Reena Devi, Bhumika Chib, Devam Jandiyal, Rahul Wanchoo, Mohammad Afroz, Kuldeep Raj, Shiv Kumar, Suraj Parkash, M.C Kotwal, Vijay Malla and Hem Raj gave inspiring performances. Deepak Kumar was the Programme Coordinator.
