JAMMU: To draw attention to individuals and families living with autism and vector borne diseases include malaria, dengue, Leishmainiasis, Bharatiya Lok Kala Sangeet Sansthan (BLSKS) organized autism and health awareness campaign, here on Saturday.
During the campaign, seven awareness cultural programmes will be organised in three blocks of Jammu district.
The program was commenced with song “Laga Gran Sare Sehtu Da Mela”, “Chara Da Bhukhar”, “Bacho-Bacho–Bacho” and skits.
The BLSKS also presented its 27th musical Play “Tandrusti Lakh Niyamat” for which music was composed by Raju Bajgal.
The event was organised at Durga Bhawan Jammu.
The programe inaugurated by V.K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Jammu. Renowned Director and Producer, Vijay Malla, Dr. Anju Dogra, Dr.Tara Singh Charak, Romesh Chander were Guests of Honour.
M.L Dogra highlighted the importance of celebration and said autism among children lead to poor communication and social skills.
The renowned artistes Usha Handoo, Asha Zaroo, K.K Joshi, M.C Kotwal, Neelam Gandotra, Kamli Devi, Hem Raj, Gauri Lal, Kuldeep Raj, Bhomika Chib, Neelam Chib, Rakshit Sharma , Sarvagaya Sharma, Druv Pandit, Rahul Wanchoo, Mohd, Afroz, Rakesh Katoch, Deevam Jandiyal, Sant Dass, Sanam Gupta, Samarth Gupta, Anu Pandita took part in the skit.
