UDHAMPUR: In a joint operation against the encroachers, Municipal Council Udhampur (MCU), local police and ARTO Authority launched anti encroachment drive in Udhampur on Saturday.
A special team led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) MCU Santosh Kotwal, ARTO Udhampur Kuldeep Singh, Dy. SP Traffic and squad of MCU removed temporary structure been raised by the shopkeepers all along the road side at Domail Chowk market. Team also demolished display material and hoardings. Sources disclosed that in order to ensure and to maintain law and order addition police persons led by SHO were deployed so that drive can be carried out smoothly.
