BHADARWAH: The Annual Urs of Sofi saint Abu Sakinder Ali Shah Bhagdadi Sahib (RTA) was celebrated with religious fervour in Bhadarwah where hundreds of people thronged the Shrine at Masjid Mohalla and paid homage to Abu Sakinder Ali Shah Bhagdadi Sahib (RA) on URS where special prayers were also organised by the management committee led by Nazir Ahmed Zargar , Mohd Ayoub Khan ,Mohd Shafi Rafeqi ,Shabir Ahmed Khateb , Mohd Shafi Akhnoon , Akhter Hussain Lone , Abdul Kabir Malik, Mohd Ayoub Rafeqi , Abdul Latief and others.
The proceedings of the Urs got underway with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran followed by Naat Sharief. People belonging to various walks of life paid rich tributes to the saint for his meritorious services for the welfare of humanity and promotion of Islamic teachings. The Urs of Abu Sakinder Ali Shah Bhagdadi is observed every year at Bhadarwah . All participants lauded the teachings of the great Sufi who worked for promotion of Islam which included peace and brotherhood.
