AAP protests against atrocities on Dalits

JAMMU: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers led by Raj Kumar Nischal on Saturday held a protest against the atrocities on Dalits.
Advocate Sanjeev Sareen, Member Legal Cell and AAP volunteer said that Bhartiya Janata Party’s Government has totally failed at Centre as well as State level to protect the rights of Dalits.
He also condemned the remarks of BJP Vice-President in Uttar Pradesh against Mayawati.
Under the regime of BJP in Centre, Sareen said that Dalits in BJP governed States of J and K, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana, face lot of atrocities.
Sareen further demanded implementation of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989 in the J and K State.
AAP Observer of J and K State, Talha Khan, who also was a part of the protest, criticised the Centre and State leadership of BJP for not behaving with Dalits as human beings and said in the times to come, Dalits from all over India will boycott the BJP.
Harpreet Singh, Darshan Lal, Dalvinder Bhagat, D.L Radha, Sanjay Rakwal, Vishal Arya, Rakesh Lakhotra, Bilal Khan, Jagjit Singh, Rajesh Bali, Nirmal Kranti, Balbir Singh, Anita Gupta, Rani Devi, Hema Mahajan, Parvinder Anand, Gagandeep Singh, Amandeep Singh, Sawtantar Bharat Bakshi, Dalbir Singh, M.L Mahajan, Tarun Mahajan, Pawan Kumar, Pardeep Sharma, Sham Sharma, Mehar Singh, Vipul Bali, Sukhwinder Singh, Himanshu Jandyal and Ankit were also present in the protest.
