CHOWKI CHOWRA : The Chowki Chowra Police recovered 14 kg Naag Shatri (a banned forest produce) from a truck and arrested the driver.
The incharge Police post Chowki Chowra on Thursday intercepted truck No JK02P-4731 and during its search recovered 14 kg Nag Shatri. The police seized the vehicle and arrested its driver identified as Shabir Ahmed son of Ali Mohd resident of Budhal, district Rajouri.
The police have registered an FIR 184/14 under 6/15/16 Forest Act, 4 LTR Act, 379/411 RPC for investigation.
