SAMBA: Agriculture Department of district Samba zone Ghagwal village Jatwall (Blooni) inspected the maize crop field variety of Dekalb double and DKC 9144 on Tuesday. The inspection team was headed by Tilak Raj Sharma AEO, Arjit Singh, Rashpal Singh JAEO , Monsanto INDIA Limited Expert T.M Joginder Singh, MDO Ajay Sharma. They inspected the variety of maize of Monsanto India ltd. and observed that in hilly areas besides heavy rainfall the crop is successful to gain more yield even due to water lodging.
