Adv General exhorts new law officers to work diligently

JAMMU: The newly appointed law officers of the State appointed to contest cases in the High Court’s Jammu Wing who include Additional Advocates General and Deputy Advocates General have assumed charge of office today.
The new incumbents who assumed charge include Ajay Sharma, Rupinder Singh Additional Advocates General and Aseem Sawhney, Deepika Mahajan, Amit Gupta and Vishal Bharti as Deputy Advocates General.
The Advocate General D.C Raina, while addressing a meeting of the State law officers, exhorted upon them to work diligently for the causes of the State. He said that unlike a private client the State Government is an institution and asked the new State Government law officers to contest the cases fairly and fearlessly. He advised them that their behaviour towards the Bench and the bar should be par excellence and also cautioned that that every word of theirs is word of the State Govt.
D.C Raina handed over assignments and departments to the law officers later. Those present at the charge taking ceremony were S.S Nanda Senior AAG, Seema Shekhar Senior AAG, Waseem Sadiq Nargal AAG, Ravinder Gupta AAG, Ajay Sharma AAG, S Rupinder Singh, AAG, P.S Chandel, R.S Jamwal, Aseem Sawhney, Vishal Bharti, Amit Gupta and Deepika Mahajan Dy AsG.
