JAMMU: Getting better of Gurasees in cadet boys’ final, Adnan won title, while promising Niharika stunned talented Tuheen in a nail-biter to claim Cadet Girl’s title in the 43rd Stag J&K UT and Inter-District Table Tennis Championship, here on Monday.
Adnan defeats Gurasees by 3-2 to lift cadet boys title and Niharika beat Tuheen 3-2 to win Cadet girls trophy.
Meanwhile, in the cadet boys semifinals Adnan defeated Eesa by 3-1 and Guasees defeated Ayaan by 3-2 to enter into the final.
In the Sub Jr girls final, Iknoor Kour defeated Ragini Gupta by 3-2 to repeat her last year’s title run.
In Jr Boys quarterfinals, Saksham beat Madhav 3-0, Maanay beat Varun Bhardwaj 3-0,
Ritvik Gupta beat Zaffer Ahmed 3-0, Anuj Dutta beat Sourav Sharma 3-1, Saksham Verma beat Akshay Mahajan 3-1, Maanay beat Mahi Kailu 3-0, Manandeep Singh beat Faisal Mir 3-0 in the second round of Youth Boys section.
in Junior Girls quarterfinals, Iknoor beat Inam Qadri 3-0, Vidhushi beat Divyanshi 3-2, Vanshika beat Suhani 3-0, Ragini beat Aarya 3-0.
