JAMMU: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh on Monday issued promotion order in respect of 216 Sg-Constables promoting them to the rank of Head-Constable in the pay scale of level-5 (29200-92300), 03 HCs as ASI, 05 CTs as Sg.Ct’s and In-Situ promotion to 01 HC and 01 follower besides bringing 307 Sg.Ct’s on promotion list-“C-II” who will be promoted after passing of requisite pre-promotion course.
This is the 10th DPC under the chairmanship of Zonal ADGP Jammu, wherein 4883 officials in different ranks have already been promoted.
While congratulating the promoted police personnel and their families, ADGP Jammu Zone lauded the efforts of these police personnel in earning their due promotion well in time and further expressed hope that they shall rededicate themselves towards their work even with more zeal and enthusiasm to make the department feel proud.
