ADGP Jammu awards PSI Nitish Khajuria for conducting investigation leading to conviction in NDPS cases

JAMMU: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, on Tuesday awarded PSI Nitish Khajuria with a Commendation Certificate Class-I along with cash reward for his exemplary performance as investigator the then In-charge of Police Post Pouni Chack. The award was presented in a ceremony held at Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Jammu.
PSI Nitish Khajuria has been recognized for his outstanding work in securing convictions in three significant cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
These cases include FIR No. 36/2022 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act, FIR No. 80/2022 under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act, FIR No. 239/2022 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act and Section 48-F of the Excise Act at Police Station Domana.
Anand Jain lauded PSI Khajuria’s relentless efforts in combating drug-related crimes. Securing convictions, in NDPS cases, helps in combating such crime effectively, he added.
