JAMMU: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) on Wednesday staged protest against the anti-employees policy adopted by Director School Education, Jammu, who had violated all the norms of transfer policy by favoring some blue-eyed employees adjusting them at the zero kilometer distance.
Led by State General Secretary JKTF, Ganesh Khajuria, the forum members assembled at Press Club and raised slogans against the Director School Education, Jammu.
Khajuria condemned the police action on the teachers sittings peacefully on the chain hunger strike for the last nine days in front of Office of Director School Education (DSE).
He lambasted on the adamant attitude of DSE to hear and redress the grievances of victimsed employees despite the assurances given by her with employees to modify the transfer orders. The protesting employees blamed DSE to harass them deliberately by transferring them in remote areas at a distance of more than 100 km from their residence. The forum gave one week to the administration to mitigate the demands of protesting teachers and modify the transfer orders of victimised employees at the earliest.
Khajuria urged upon the Chief Minister and Education Minister to personally intervene in this matter and order an independent enquiry in the matter to unearth the corrupt means adopted by DSEJ in the recent transfers.
Among others who joined the protest include Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Surat Singh Toofani, Yograj Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Darshan Sharma, Rajeshwar Sambyal, Subash Sharma, Ramparshad, Surinder Sharma, Yuvraj Pathania, Naresh Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Surinder Choudhary, Bharat Bhushan, P.D Singh, Goatam Singh, Joginder Singh, Vinod Shastri, Mohammad Qayoom, Goldi Walia, Devinder Singh, Mohammad Shahnaz, Balraj Singh, Ajit Verma and Subash Sharma.

General line teachers seek no
modification in transfer policy

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum took out a support rally in favour of Director School Education Jammu. A large numbers of general line teachers and all its district bodies participated in the rally at Directorate of School Education Jammu.
State President of the Forum, Neeraj Sharma condemned the parochial views of the various forums/associations for their selfish motives. He said that for their comforts of homely transfers they are not only misleading and misguiding the teaching community but now also trying to deceive and woo the representatives of the various political parties by giving false information about the school system.
The forum demanded no modification for any one of these as the schools where they were transferred are facing huge shortage of teaching staff and the students in these schools become the victim if their illegal demands for modification if fulfilled. Those who joined the rally include Dr Parshotam Singh, Kiran Pandita, Digvijay Singh, Kanchan Meenta, Sushma Slathia, Upasana, Amit, Tajinder, Ramneesh, Munish Verma and Shivnandan.
