KATRA: Dr. M.K Kumar Addl. CEO Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra on Sunday inaugurated second mega medical camp at Annapurna Dharamshalla Kashmir Road Katra. This camp was organised by Rotary Club Katra in association with Maxx Lyfe Hospital and Sub District Hospital Katra.
Renowned doctors including Dr. Amit Thakur M.S orthopaedics, Dr. Vijay Sharma Gynaecologist, Dr. Dushant Choudhary Physician, Dr. Sourav Katoch General Surgeon examined over 457 patients. They provided free medical consultation and medicines to the patients in the camp.
The inmates of Katra and its periphery highly appreciated the efforts of the doctors and Rotary Club Katra. Free tests of blood sugar, ECG and blood group were conducted. Specially Yatris and small children availed this opportunity in a big way.
CEO was all praise for the efforts of Rotary Club Katra in organising such events .
He advised the young generation to come forward wholeheartedly in the service of humanity.
Guest of Honour Ambrish Magotra ex-President MC Katra complimented the Rotary Club Katra and made commitment for every help in future in their projects.
Guest of Honour Dyp. Commandant 6th Battalion CRPF helped the club in organising this event and said any kind of help needed by the club shall be fulfilled immediately.
President Rotary Club Katra Rtn Raj Kumar Padha in his welcome address disclosed that this was their second medical camp and their effort of providing relief to the local inhabitants of Katra town and its periphery would continue in future as well.
In addition to free medical camps ,club proposes to run an eye vision centre ,opening of a health centre at Katra and construction of a Rotary Bhawan for conducting its multi-services at Katra. He also conducted the proceedings of the function.

Om Prakash Puri, Bal Krishan Purohit, Hansraj Sapolia, Harish Dubey were present on the occasion.
