JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) is a school with a difference as it has multifaceted school curriculum which includes literary activities, physical activities and meaningful academics for the holistic development of the children.
Exuberating, motivating , engaging and encouraging are the best words to describe the Saturday activities which is a regular part of the curriculum of JKPS Panjtirthi.
An array of activities like worksheet competitions on various themes, look and speak, Show and tell , colour the healthy food, etc were organised to enhance child’s vocabulary ,pronunciation, fluency, knowledge confidence, to build their scientific temperament, to inculcate creative expressions, reflective thinking, observation power , logical reasoning, to strengthen their values and to remove stage fear.
Active participation by students in such activities actually improve their brain function, enhance and development their physical skills, comprehension skills, communication skills and time management skills. Each child spoke on the mike as per the theme of activity allotted.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah said, “To give real service to society we always add something to our curriculum, which cannot be bought and measured with money. JKPS provides the greatest platform to students for recreation , rejuvenation and motivation.”
