REASI: Police on Thursday arrested an absconder who was evading arrest for the last two years.
According to a report, SHO Police Station Chassana along with police team apprehended an absconder namely Mansa Ram son of Shankar Singh resident of Tulli Tehsil Chassana District Reasi in case under FIR No.295/2013 section 279/304-A/RPC of District Jammu from Tulli area.
The said absconder was driver of the vehicle and committed a fatal accident in the jurisdiction of District Jammu and was evading his arrest for last two years. In this regard a warrant was issued under section 512/CrPC from JMIC Jammu
