BISHNAH: An absconder who was evading his arrest 13 years was arrested by Bishnah police on Tuesday.
As per details, an information was received at Police Station Bishnah through reliable sources regarding an absconder who was evading his arrest since 13 years in case FIR No. 158/2011 under section 48 Exise Act of PS Bishnah.
On this special police teams of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Bishnah did strenuous efforts and raided at the suspected area and finally arrested the said person namely Ashwani Kumar, son of Chain Lal, resident of Chak Waziro Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention that a warrant of arrest under section 512 Cr.PC was also issued against the said absconder.
Finally today the warrant was executed and the said accused was sent to District Jail Kathua.
