RAMBAN: Ramban Police on Sunday arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last five years.
The arrested accused has been identified as Irshad Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shafi Banday, resident of village Arai, Tehsil Mandi district Poonch. He was wanted in case FIR number 122/2010 under section 420 RPC.
The arrest was made by a police team, led by SHO Ramban, Inspr Ajay Singh Chib under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs Mohd Rafiq and SSP Ramban, Randeep Kumar.
“The arrested absconder will be produced in the Court of Law on tomorrow,” a police official said.
