JAMMU: Batting for reservation on economic basis, Ravi Singh Slathia State President Akhil Bhartiya Kshitriya Maha Sabha (ABKMS) decided to start a Rath Yatra from Jammu which shall cover all the parts of the country to garner support of the masses on the issue.
Briefing media persons here on Sunday, Slathia informed that the National Body of Akhil Bhartiya Kshitriya Maha Sabha under the leadership of National Working President, Mahinder Singh Tanvar and the patronage of Maharaja Raghuvir Singh Sarohi and Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak former Minister will take out a Rath Yatra for garnering the support of the masses on the issue of reservation on economic basis only.
He further informed that the Rath Yata will start from Jammu after performing the Hawan at Raj Tilak Bhawan at Purani Mandi, Jammu at 10:00 AM, on August 9, 2017. The national leaders of ABKMS will be taken to the Raj Tilak Bhawan Purai Mandi in a motor cycle rally, thereafter the Yatra will be flagged off which will culminate at New Delhi on November 18, 2017 after passing through the different states of the country. Thereafter a national convention will be held on November 19, 2017, in which representatives of the Sabha from all over the country shall take part.
Others who were present in the press conference include Amrik Singh Slathia State Vice President, Gambir Dev Singh Charak Chief Organiser, Ajit Singh, Pawan Singh Manhas, Rameshwar Singh Manhas, Rashpal Singh Chib, Zorawar Singh Rakwal and Dr Raghuvir Singh Charak.
