AAP alleges bungling in MGNREGA scheme

JAMMU: To show their resentment against large scale of mismanagement, bungling and corruption involved in MGNREGA scheme in Inderwal Assembly Constituency of Kishtwar District, Aam Aadmi Party’s volunteers on Monday staged a strong protest near Press Club, here on Monday. A large number of volunteers participated under the leadership of Jammu District leader Gagandeep Singh. Advocate Sanjeev Sareen, Member Legal Cell of the Party, said that large scale bungling, corruption and mismanagement is seen in Inderwal Assembly Constituency in Central Government sponsored scheme of MG-NREGA.
On the one hand the Central Government is claiming that there is no deficiency of funds under the said scheme and in the Inderwal Constituency the poor persons were not paid even after one and two years of completing works of Pacca path and link roads, he alleged.
Sareen said that the State Government in the time to come will see the power of Aam Aadmi when the general public will throw it out of power as they have been made to suffer a lot during their regime by unpopular decisions of the government besides large scale of corruption.
Others present in the protest were Harpreet Singh, Sajan Sharma, Sukhwinder Singh, Bilal Khan, Rajesh Bali, Raj Kumar Nischal, Janmeet Singh, Balbir Singh, Raman Sharma, Amit, Harmeet Singh, Anita Gupta, Rani Devi, Gurpreet Singh, Ajay Kumar, Pyare Lal and Lal Chand.
