RAJOURI: The NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Budhal organised cleanliness drive in the college in connection with forthcoming Gandhi Jayanti celebrations and Prime Minister’s call for “Swachh Bharat” as mass movement to realise Gandhiji’s dream of clean India by 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2019.
About one hundred NSS volunteers took part in the drive which was inaugurated by Principal of the college Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Raina.
He appreciated the efforts of NSS Unit of the college for organising the cleanliness drive and advised the volunteers to understand Prime Minister’s call for “Swachh Bharat” as mass movement to realise Gandhiji’s dream of clean India by 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2019 in true sense and involve themselves accordingly in these activities.
NSS Incharge Dr.Mohd Sajir Malik also spoke on the occasion and presented future action plan of activities of NSS Unit of the College in this direction.
