KATHUA: The Sikh Youth Welfare Society (SYWS) celebrated the 107th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh and recalled his contribution for freedom of the country.
Members of the SYWS paid floral tributes to to Bhagat Singh’s picture and took oath to fight against ill-wills of the society and follow Bhagat Singh’s ideology of selflessness service of the country.
Member SYWS, Bhupinder Singh Sehgal extended greetings to the nation and said that being a member of patriotic family, Bhagat Singh had made aim to take revenge of Jalianwala Bagh massacres right from his childhood and untimely death of Lala Lajpat Rai torched his heart.
He encouraged youth to learn dedication towards aim and selflessness service of the nation which is mandatory for the development of the country. Shagundeep Singh Bali and Harpreet Singh demanded Bharat Rattan for Bhagat Singh.
