The Jammu and Kashmir State legislative elections was a time when BJP had said that, there will be policy of “no compromise” for anti-nationals, but with crumbled verdict and lingering situation, agenda was subdued and BJP compromised its own agenda, this is illustrated by shifting of AIIMS, Tawi project cancellation, waving of Pakistan flag and many instances, when BJP ignored Jammu. With a successful Bandh called by associations for AIIMS and Tawi project, BJP realised its mistakes.
Only after this, BJP had tried to regain lost confidence, the MoS Dr Jitendra Rana made it clear that AIIMS was allotted to Jammu, so here it will be built first! This comment put soul in embedding confidence, but the “lackadaisical” (Chalta Hai) comment by Deputy CM is something very different. According to him,”Pakistani flags, Khalistani posters are coming up in Jammu and Kashmir since long” 25. With seats in Assembly BJP has a responsibility of presenting Jammu’s views and keeping interests of Jammuites in JK Assembly.
