KISHTWAR: Due to the hectic and tireless efforts of PWD division Marwah and PWD division Vailoo , the Margan Top Pass connecting the remote and inaccessible Valley of Warwan and Marwah to Vailoo Anantnag and subsequently to the Distt HQ Kishtwar, was cleared for traffic in record time.
DDC Kishtwar Mohd Javed Khan personally supervised all the restoration work. With the clearance of this important link, the essential supplies to the Marwah and Warwan have been restored; thus providing major relief to the local population. It is pertinent to mention that the Sinthan Pass which connects Kishtwar with Anantnag was also cleared in the record time of only one day after the heavy rains and flash floods. The Purana Kadal Bridge connecting Warwan to Marwah Valley have also been completed despite the hostile weather conditions and flash floods in the river. Mohd Javed Khan congratulated the concerned officers and work force for their indispensible services braving the hostile weather and heavy rains.
