UDHAMPUR: In an effort to reach out to the affected persons due to unprecedented rains which created havoc in almost all the parts, various efforts have been made under the directions of Zonal Police Headquarters by extending all possible assistance and help to the public. In this endeavour, medical camps are being organised by Jammu Police in collaboration with Police Hospital, Jammu.
A medical camp was held in Pargwal area of Sub Division Akhnoor, in which a team of doctors and other paramedical staff from Police Hospital Jammu have provided treatment, consultation and counseling to the needy of all age groups including children, women and elders, which include health education of water borne and other communicable diseases, and the precautions to be taken to prevent them. Approximately 150 persons from the area have been treated in this special camp.
