UDHAMPUR: Security forces on Friday launched a search operation in Kud area along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district after some suspicious movement was spotted.
Details revealed that based on specific inputs regarding some suspicious movement, joint teams of army, police and CRPF launched search operations in Kud-Nathatop area. “Some locals informed police about suspicious movement in the area, following which the search operation was carried out,” an official said, adding that searches were still in progress till filing of reports while internet services have been shut in region as a precautionary measure.
