Students bring laurels to KCIS

JAMMU: Students of KC International School (KCIS) brought the splendor again for the institution in swimming. CBSE conducted Inter School Swimming Competition in Delhi at Remal Public School. The team comprising of eleven students under the guidance of Coach Rajesh Singh had participated. Under 14: Kartikay Sharma-VIII (100mt freestyle and Relay), Chanakya Sethi-VIII (200 m Free style and Relay), Vanshaj Sharma-V (Relay), Divyan Sharma-V (50m and 100 m, Relay), Aryan Koul-VII (Relay team and 50 mts), Satyam Gupta-VII (50m back stroke, Relay), Anikait Hashiya-VIII (50 mt Free Style and Relay).
Under-16: Ashish Sharma-IX (400m, 100m freestyle and Relay), Sumit Bhat-IX (800mt, 200 mt, Freestyle and Relay), Akash Sharma-IX (50m, 100 mt Breast Stroke and Relay) and Biraj Gupta-IX (50 mt Free Style and relay).
The KCIS team was the only team from J and K which qualified the heats and reached up to quarterfinal level.
The management, Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan and staff appreciated the efforts and the courage of the team members. Dr. Bhushan while felicitating students and coach told that KCIS always believes in embracing hard work which gives much more than just results and is the reason enough in itself for freeing your mind and soul as you devote yourself to the task at hand.
