Makhdoomi Volleyball Club clinches Jallian Volleyball Championship 2024 trophy

POONCH: The Makhdoomi Volleyball Club emerged victorious in the highly anticipated Jallian Volleyball Championship 2024, held at Jallian, Poonch.
The championship witnessed participation from 11 teams across the Union Territory, and the final match proved to be a thrilling contest between Makhdoomi Volleyball Club and Loran Spartan.
In an exhilarating display of skill and teamwork, Makhdoomi Volleyball Club defeated Loran Spartan with a 3-0 set score, clinching the title. The set scores were 25-23, 25-21, and 27-25.
Makhdoomi’s standout players, Mohd Hafeez, Bilal Ahmed, and Nanna Makhdoomi, displayed extraordinary performance throughout the match, playing pivotal roles in securing the victory for their team.
The grand finale was graced by Chief Guest Mohd Tariq, Chairman of Shaheed DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Volleyball Club, Poonch, and Ex-MLA Shah Mohd Tantary, who attended the event as the Guest of Honour.
Other distinguished guests included social activist, Tanveer Ahmed Tantary, Billal Makhdoomi, and senior citizens, all of whom were present to witness the exciting final match and support the teams.
The victory marks another remarkable achievement for Makhdoomi Volleyball Club, further cementing their reputation in the sport. The event was a celebration of sportsmanship and unity, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for volleyball in the region.
