DODA: All India Five days Gufran Global Cricket Coaching camp concluded on Friday with a prize distribution ceremony at Sport Stadium Doda here todat. The participants were also facilitated with certificates and the ceremony was attended by Chief Advisor YSCC Prof. Zaheer Hashmi, Patron YSCC Doda Manzoor Batt, Chairman YSCC Naseer Khora, Sr. Cricket Coach from Maharashta Cricket Academy Mehboob Pathan, Cricket Coach Doda Warriors Sports Club Sh Pramod Thakur, Javed Ahmed Member YSCC, Naushair Batt Member YSCC and others.
The event was organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda with a mission to provide specialized cricket coaching to the youth.
Former IPL Player, Iqbal Abdullah was the Chief Guest of the event, who imparted his insights to the young participants throughout the event. Ghulam Farooq (Former Ranji Player) from Andhara Pradesh & Sr Cricket Coach from Maharashta Cricket Academy Mehboob Pathan were other guests who decorated the event with their presence.
The event was sponsored by 10 Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda and New Style Dry Fruits & Spices. Chief Guest, Iqbal Abdullah, during the concluding ceremony said that there’s so much potential and talent in the young children in Doda which needs honing.
Manzoor Ahmed Butt, Patron YSCC announced that YSCC Doda shall make a team each in U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19 end U-22 category which shall be given the chance to play in tournaments in other states of the country. Further, he said that those young cricket aspirants who have been selected in the event shall be given the chance to attain further training for a period of one month in Madhan Lal Cricket Academy, Delhi. Moreover, he said that more such events shall be organised in future where national and international cricketers shall impart their knowledge and guidance to those young cricket aspirants who have registered with YSCC Doda.
