JAMMU: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) in its ongoing three-day Bhagwan Parsuram Jayanti celebration, on Tuesday flagged off the Rath Yatra and Car Bike rally, here.
The event was organized jointly by Sabha President Ved Parkash Sharma and Yuva President of the Sabha, Ritiz Khajuria in presence of Tawi Andolan President Chander Mohan Sharma, B.D Sharma Retd. IAS, Ex. DC B.S Jamwal, NMC President Subash Shastri, several JMC Corporators, heads of various social and religious organizations, beside senior prominent citizen from length and breadth of Jammu Province and apart from religious scholars.
Ex. Dy. Mayor Purnima Sharma, Ikkjutt Party President Ankur Sharma, Bawa Bhairdev Sathan Trust President Balwant Singh and General Secretary Ramesh Sharma, Bajrang Dal President Rakesh Kumar, Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj President Anil Masoom and others were also present.
The Rath Yatra, Jhankis by various religious organizations and bike car rally passed through the authorized routes viz Chankaya Chowk to Moti Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, Jain Bazar, Link Road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Kanak Mandi, Residency Road, Ragunath Mandir Bazar, Ranbirashwar Mandir Chowk and culminated at Chanakya Chowk Parade. Vishal Bhandhara was also served by the DBPS.
The three day celebration programmes will end on 22nd of April 2023 by performing Vishal Hawana and Kirtan and Vedic discourses regarding Bhagwan Parsuram teaching followed by Vishal Bhandara.
The entire programme was supervised by the Sabha office bearers namely V.M. Magotra, N.C. Sharma, M.L. Sharma, Advocate P.C. Sharma, Satyanand Sharma, Soujanya Sharma, M.L Padha, Shiv Ram Sharma, Jagan Nath Sharma, K.L Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Rohit Shastri, Davinder Sharma (Baboo), S.S. Baru, Barita Ram Sharma, Gurdass Sharma, Sat Paul Sharma, Raman Sharma, Rajesh Bargota, Prem Balotra and Kanav Sharma.
