POONCH: Power House Club and Sham Lal Hockey Club won their respective matches to strengthen their position in the ongoing First Sham Lal Memorial (Girls) five-a-side League Hockey Tournament at Sports Stadium, here on Wednesday.
In the first match of the day, Power House Club blanked Poonch Orange 5-0. Ishita netted three goals striking in the third, sixth and 28th minute of the match while Meenakshi added two goals coming in the eighth and 25th minutes.
Meanwhile, in another scheduled match, Sham Lal Hockey Club defeated Stadium Red by four goals to nil.
From Sham Lal Club, Urvashi scored three goals in the sixth, 12th and 23rd minutes. Sanjana made it a big win fourth goal in the 29th minute.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel including Navjot Singh, Shobit, Agrim and Kavleen.
This tournament is technically supervised by hockey coaches, Pawan Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Navjot Singh.
