NYCS organises Sankalp Saptah

JAMMU: On the occasion of birth century of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, National Yuva Cooperative Society (NYCS) organised a Sankalp Saptah all over the country from September 25 to October 2.
In this connection a function was organised here today at Bishnah wherein Ashwani Sharma, Ex-MLA was the Chief Guest while Ajay Kumar Singh Assistant Professor, Department of Comparative Religions and Civilisations, Central University of Jammu was the key Speaker.
Anil Kumar Singh Chairman Sulabh International, Prem Sadotra Gen Secretary Bar Association Jammu along with Opinder Sharma State representative NYCS were also present.
Ashwani spoke about the initiatives taken by PM Narendra Modi for the development of the country and especially about the youth of the country.
Ajay Singh spoke to those present at the programme about Pandit Deendayal’s philosophy of ‘Antodaya’ which literally means the “rise of the last person”.
Singh also spoke about Pandit Upadhyaya’s contribution to socio-political philosophy in the form of his idea of ‘Ekatma Manav Darshan’.
He said that this concept believes that internationalism is the outward manifestation of the development of human consciousness from the earlier stage of nationalism.
Earlier, Opinder Sharma informed about the activities of NYCS and said that it is first multi-state society in the country which is working with a motto of uplift of young generation.
Prem Sadotra conducted the proceedings of the programme.
