SRINAGAR: Two prominent Sikh youth leaders and social activists of State, Amanjeet Singh and Kanwarjot Singh along with their hundreds of supporters on Sunday joined People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at its party headquarters here.
They joined the party in the presence of PDP Vice President and senior leader Mohammad Sartaj Madni, MLC Khursheed Alam, Nizamuddin Bhat and many other party leaders and workers.
“Since long, the genuine demands of our community were neglected. To address those demands and highlight the issues of Sikh community, we have joined the PDP”, they said.
Meanwhile, Madni and other party leaders welcomed Singh into the party fold and wished them good luck.
