IGP declares open Khelo India Games in Jammu

JAMMU: IGP Jammu Zone, S.D Singh Jamwal on Monday declared open the Khelo India Games in Jammu at the St. Peters School, Satwari. The Games are being played simultaneously in 17 blocks of Jammu District with more than 5500 players taking part in the games. The IGP, while lauding the efforts of the Sports Council and complemented the VC Sports Council Jammu Ranjeet Kalra and his team for organising the games on such a large scale, also extended all support of the Police Department for nurturing sporting talent in the State. The IGP later interacted with the players.
Ranjeet Kalra in his inagural address gave a detailed overview about the games.
SP South Sandeep Choudhary (IPS) and Senior Administrator of St Peters School Sr. Glansia were the Guests of Honour in the inaugural function.
