Martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev remembered

JAMMU: On the martyr day of the three young patriots of the country, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, BJP Freedom Fighters and Martyr Cell organized a programme at Trikuta Nagar office under State Convenor Bharat Bhushan Sharma.
BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma, State Vice-Presidents Yudhvir Sethi, Mamta Singh, Rajni Sethi, Dr. Darkshan Andrabi, Vice-Chairpersons Balbir Ram Rattan and S. Varinderjit Singh, State Spokesperson Prof. Virender Gupta and S.S Bijral, Mohan Singh Chouhan, Kulbushan Mohtra, Ayodhya Gupta, Baldev Singh Billawaria, J.D Singh, Harbans Choudhary, Darshan Singh, H.S Pami, Kulwant Singh Bhatti, Tilak Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Jeet Angral, Hari Om Sharma, V.K Sethi, Daljit Singh, Prof. Sham Lal, Sunny Sharma, Ranjit Singh, Balwan Singh, Raj Kumar, Tarsem Choudhary, Ashwani Sharma, Ranjeet Singh and Dr Pardeep Mohtra also paid their tributes. Congress today remembered Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom today and paid rich tributes to them for their supreme sacrifices.
Paying rich tributes to the martyrs who laid their lives for the freedom of the nation, on behalf of entire rank and file of the party, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that their supreme sacrifices will continue to inspire the generations to come with the spirit of patriotism and service to nation and countrymen.
Jammu and Kashmir Shaheed Bhagat Singh Federation, Jammu, also paid rich tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at a function organized here at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, near Jewel Cinema.
Chairman of the Federation, Jammu, Manjeet Singh Jatt threw light on the life history of freedom fighters. He suggested the youth of the State to leave the path of drugs and other anti-social elements and should contribute to the prosperity of the nation.
Among others who were present include Pathina, Jasvinder Singh District President, Sunil Chowdhary, Lucky Singh, Deepu Singh, Raj Kumar Raju, Aman Singh, Sahil, Vikram Choudhary, Happy and P Salthia.
J and K Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) on Thursday organised a function to remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh and two other freedom fighters who were hanged on 23rd March in 1931.
A function to pay tributes to these freedom fighters was organised under the leadership of Ved Gandotra, President JKFFA at Dogra Shaurya Sthal, Amphalla, here.
Speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sawhney, one of the freedom fighter while paying tributes to them, highlighted the life history of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his associates, who fought for the freedom of the mother land. The freedom fighters are a lesson for the youth of today, who is only confined to him-self, in money making and in drug abuse, other speakers said.
Prominent persons amongst others who paid tributes to freedom fighters include State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan, Rajinder Singh, Brij Mehra, Parbhat Kapahi, Rajan Gupta, Sahil Malhotra, Abhishiekh Kohli, Tej Ram Dogra, J.J Singh, Devender Singh, Baldev Raj, Rajan Kumar and Varun Sharma.
Jammu Warriors Front (JWF) organised a function to pay tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukh Dev and Rajguru on their Death Anniversary.
While paying tributes to them, JWF Chairman and Senior Pradesh BJP leader, Rajesh Gupta said that we will not waste the sacrifices which they gave for our country during freedom struggle.
Later, Rajesh along with his office bearers distributed fruits among the poor and needy persons outside Shri Ranbireshwar Temple.
Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation paid tributes to national heroes Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day here at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Jammu.
On the occasion, MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta was the Chief Guest.
Earlier, he inaugurated the free medical camp organised by Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu.
In this camp, more than 1,300 people benefitted from the camp.
Rajesh Gupta MLA appreciated Dr. Taran Singh Medical Superintendent and the staff of the Government Ayurvedic Hospital who rendered their services for the successful camp.

Among those who offered floral tributes to the martyrs include S.P Varma, Sunil Dimple, Thakur Swarn Singh Gujjar, Brij Mehra, President Jewel Bazar Shopkeepers Association, Kamal Gupta Advovate, Sant Karam Singh and Vinod Wadhwan.
Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Committee paid tribute to the freedom fighters i.e, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru at a function held here today.
In this regard, a programme seminar was organized at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Jee Complex Chand Nagar, Jammu under the leadership of Sukhdev Singh, Convener of the Committee in which senior trade union leaders, prominent citizens attended the function and shared their views.
On the occasion the Award of Honour was given to Late Comrade Parveen Kesar, one of the Founder Member of the Committee. The award was given in lieu to their dedication towards humanity and mankind by Mohan Lal and Prof Mohammad Ayub.

Saraswati Kala Kendra Rhythm Dance Academy also paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters at a function held here at Rainbow Public School Rampura Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The function was organized by MD of the Academy, Parmod Chowdhary.
On the occasion, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta was the Chief Guest while Senior BJP leaders Ajay Pargal and Vinay Gupta were the Guest of Honours.
Children presented patriotic songs. Chairman Rainbow Public School M.K Khajuria, Artist State Awardee M.K Wadhera and President of SKKRDA Trust, Sonu Taneja were also present.
Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) paid floral tributes to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev at a function held here today.
President JWAM, Sunil Dimple highlighted the sacrifices of the Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev for the freedom of the India by sacrificing their lives.
Residents of Sainik Colony paid tributes to martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru at a function herld here at Sainik School.
Youth of the area remembered their sacrifices for their country and role in giving the independence to the country.
Youth leader Abhimanyu Jamwal organized bike rally at Ward No70 Sainik Colony.

The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association held its special meet here today to pay homage to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on their martyrdom day.
Others who spoke on the occasion include R.L Kaith, G.R Kaith, Capt. Kamal Chand Motan, Capt. Kamal Dass Kaith, Sub Maj Thoru Ram Mandi, Sub Baldev Chand Sandhu, Naib Sub Rashpal Chand Bassa, Hav Des Raj Kaith, Hakikat Anmol, Sat Paul and Deepak Jyot.
Shiv Shakti Sena, J and K paid tributes to the freedom fighters Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukh Dev besides other freedom fighter who laid down their lives for the cause of freedom of India from the English rulers.
A flag rally on motor bikes was also organised to commemorate the great martyrs and to make public aware about the evils of drug addiction. Shiv Deep Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, Sonu Kumar, Ashwani Gupta, Kaka, Rahui Gupta and Aman Kumar were also present on the occasion.
