NOWSHERA: Police on Wednesday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing two bovines from the clutches of a smuggler.
According to a report, on a specific information SHO Police Station Dharamsal Inspr. Darshan Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Nawaz Ahmed on the direction of SSP Rajouri Mohd Suleman Choudhary, laid a Naka at Gala near Solki, Kalakote. During Naka checking, police rescued two bovines and arrested one bovine smuggler identified as Maqbool Hussain son of Hakam Din resident of Dayala Kalakote.
A case vide FIR No. 10/2017 under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA was registered at Police Station Dharamsal and investigation going on.
