JAMMU: Vishal Rising Stars scripted first win in the ongoing Seven-Matches Cricket Series for Junior, organised by Vishal Cricket Club Jammu under the supervision of Rajesh Gill former Ranji Player, at Parade Ground, here on Friday.
In today’s match, Vishal Rising Stars defeated Jammu Rising Stars in last ball of the match by two wickets.
Batting first, Jammu Rising Stars scored a meager total of 86 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 18 overs. Sachin (25), Abay Tondon (16) and Rohan Gill (14) runs were the main scorers. Praful Dhar took two wickets while Amit, Ashim, Aditpal, Nalin and Agastaya shared one each for Vishal Rising Stars. In reply, Vishal Rising Stars achieved the target in last ball of the 18th overs by losing eight wickets. Surya (25) and Aditpal (21) runs were the main scorers. Umar Sadiq and Dhruv Gupta picked three wickets each while Abhay took two for Jammu Rising Stars. Aditpal was adjudged Man of the Match.
