JAMMU: A 25 members State Sambo team was flagged off by the Member Parliament (MP), Shamsher Singh Manhas for the Seventh Sub-Junior and Junior Sambo National Championship starting tomorrow at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh( MP).
Earlier, General Secretary, Rohit Sadhotra and Joint Secretary, Kulwant Singh presented a brief note of the upcoming event and introduced the team to the MP.
The team is accompanied by Rameshwar Singh and Komal Gupta as Coach while Atul Sharma is part of the team as Manager, a handout issued here on Wednesday informed.
The Team: GIRLS: Under-14: Kanishka Kesar, Lakshita Dhar, Khushi Sharma, Ashvina Bhat, Yahasvi Bisht, Tanuja, Amish, Tanisha Jamwal, Niharika, Sakshi Khar, Aarna Sharma, Radhika Kumari, Gurleen Kour, Kumakshi Gupta and Konica. BOYS: Sunny Thakur, Akshay, Swastik, Manoj Singh, Harshit, Mayank, Saksham Charak, Shivam Vikram, Suraj, Karan Choudhary andKunal Sharma.
