JAMMU: Police on Thursday arrested six gamblers and recovered Rs 9,715 as stake money from their possession.
The gamblers have been identified as Prithpal Singh alias Shanti son of late Janak Singh, resident of Singhpura Murallian Miran Sahib; Jagjeet Singh alias Dhana son of late Ram Singh, resident of Bhour Camp Jammu; Amandeep Singh alias Shammi son of Amarjeet Singh, resident of Village Phinder Miran Sahib; Davinder Singh alias Raju son of Janak Singh, resident of Singhpura Murallian; Pardeep Kumar alias Kali son of Des Raj, resident of Tali Morh Miran Sahib and Prabhjot Singh alias Shanti son of Rajinder Singh, resident of Village Phinder Miran Sahib Jammu.
The arrest was made by SHO Miran Sahib SI Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO R.S Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Hdqrs Ramesh Kotwal.
