JAMMU: Wrestler Lallu of Jammu defeated Gurdev of Batala in Punjab in the main bout and lifted the Dangal title organised at Akhara of Peer Kho with the blessings of Mahant Ravi Nath Ji.
MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta was the Chief Guest who gave away ‘Silver Gurj’ to the winner in the presence of Mahant Ravi Nath Ji and senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi.
President of the Peer Kho Akhara, Raju Varma, Stage Secretary Ashok Sharma and Sat Salarvi welcomed the guests.
The prominent persons present on the occasion were Manav, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Gulshan Mahajan, Ashwani, Dalip Gupta, Prof. Shyam, Parveen Sarna, Arun, P.C Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Hari Om, Charanjeet, Vinay, Bodha Pahalwan and Satish Patwari.
Meanwhile, Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta inaugurated a Bhandara at Sukrala Mata Mandir Purani Mandi. The Bhandara was organised by Sukrala Mata Seva Mendal.
MLA was accompanied by the Members of the Temple Committee Narinder Singh Jamwal, Rakesh Gupta, Ashok Khajuria and Raju Saluja.
The senior BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Prof. Shyam, Ramesh Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Chaman Lal, Raj Kumar, Hari Om, Ravi Singh, Shashu Koda and Ravi Babbar.
