SAMBA: A Sambar’s cub was recovered from the border village Bandral of Ramgarh area in district Samba on Wednesday morning. According to locals they saw the wild animal and the handed over police station Ramgarh which send the animal to Veterinary Hospital Ramgarh for the treatment as it was injured.
As per the doctor attending on it, the cub is around 18-24 months old and a female.
Last month one male Sambar was also recovered at village Jogpur (Jakh) of Samba, according to Wildlife officials.
