Three thieves arrested, stolen mobiles recovered

SAMBA: Police on monday recovered mobile phones which were stolen from two different shops falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur of district Samba and arrested the three thieves involved in these theft cases.
Reports said that on 28th June 2016 on the written complaint of one person namely Mohinder Pal son of Ram Prashad resident of Jakh with regard to theft of 19 mobiles and cash of Rs.2,500 from his mobile shop at Jakh, a case vide FIR No.77/2016 under section 457/380/RPC was registered at Police Sttaion Vijaypur. While as a similar complaint was lodged at Police Station Vijaypur on 18th October 2016 by one Maqbool Hussain son of Allah Rakha resident of Raya with regard to theft of seven mobiles from his shop valuing Rs.80,000 and accordingly case vide FIR No.131/2016 under section 457/380/RPC was registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation taken up.
In the meantime Vijaypur Police while working on some electronic evidences struck clue and developed information with regard to suspicious movement of one person in Vijaypur area.
However, taking the lead of the information so developed, apprehended one person namely Jagdish Singh alias Jagu son of Kuldeep Singh resident of Suchani , at present staying at Gurah Slathia, Vijaypur. During questioning he corroborated the commission of crime besides naming other two boys namely Rakka Ram alias Raku son of Tarseem Lal resident of Badhwal and Vishal Kumar alias Kalu resident of Budhwal with regard to their involvement in the commission of offence under section 457/380/RPC. Upon this all the three persons were arrested and during sustained questioning, seven mobiles were recovered on their disclosure. Accordingly the Challan of the above mentioned cases were produced in the Court of Law against the said three accused persons while as two minors involved in the offence have been released by the Court.
