BARI BRAHMNA: Police on Monday succeeded in working out a case within 48 hours after the commission of crime by arresting two notorious criminals.
As per the details, one Rakesh Singh son of Arjun Singh resident of Uttrakhand at present staying at UFLEX- II, Bari Brahmana lodged a written report at Police Station Bari Brahmana alleging that on 4th November 2016 he was on way to Railway station Bari Brahmana and in the meanwhile one vehicle (Tata Mobile) bearing regd. No. 5657/JK21B driven by some unknown driver accompanied by some another unknown person came and told him that he will get the train from Vijaypur Railway Station as the train will not stop at Bari Brahmana Railway Station.
Thereafter they asked him to sit in their vehicle, so that they will drop him at Vijaypur Railway Station to which the complainant agreed and boarded the said vehicle. Upon reaching some unknown place, both the persons (i.e driver of the vehicle and his accomplice) stopped the vehicle and started beating him and snatched away his cash to the tune of Rs. 12,500 and mobile alongwith bag containing original documents I.e school certificates , bank passbook, passport and clothes etc.
On this written report case vide FIR no. 143/2016 under section 382/323/RPC was registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana. Acting swiftly a team of Police headed by SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana was constituted by Kulbir Handa, SDPO Bari Brahmna to arrest the accused persons involved in the commission of offence.
Due to the strenuous efforts of the team so constituted after striking clues/leads, arrested both the accused persons namely Mohd. Yousaf alias Faga son of Allah Ditta resident of Sarore Nehar and Vikram Babool son of Yashpal Babool resident of Miran Sahib RS Pura involved in the commission of crime and effected the recovery of cash of Rs 12,500 , two mobiles and the documents besides seizing the involved vehicle . However, one of the arrested accused persons was identified as a hardcore criminal who is already involved in a number of heinous crimes
