JAMMU: Students of Army Public School (APS) Kaluchak both boys and girls team bagged two gold medals in Basketball and brought laurels to the school by registering remarkable victory in the final of the ongoing School Olympics. The event was organised by District Administration Jammu in collaboration with Department of Youth Sports and Services at MA Stadium from 14th to 19th October, 2016.
The boys match was played between APS Kaluchak and APS Ratnuchak in which former emerged winner with 46-28. In girls match, Kaluchak defeated APS Jammu Cantonment by
17-10.
The Chief Guest, Rangeel Singh, Ex-Minister and Chairman School Olympics, Simrandeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Sushma Chouhan, Director Tourism distributed the medals to both the teams.
