POONCH: District Police Poonch, under Civic Action Programme (CAP), is organising district level sports festival in the first week of November at Sports Stadium, here. The events in this sports festival include kabaddi, tug of war, wrist holding, stone lifting, cross country, Twenty20 cricket and football while two events of kho-kho and tug of war are exclusively meant for women. Those interested participants, individual and teams, from three Sub-Divisions of Surankote, Mendhar and Poonch have been advised to submit their entries by or before 25th October. Those winners will be rewarded with cash prizes besides other attractive prizes.
