JAMMU: Police on Monday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 55 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, during Naka checking at Nikki Tawi under the jurisdiction of Police Station Satwari, a police party headed by In-charge Police Post Chatha Krishan Raina arrested one person namely Yash Pal alias Kaku son of Dewan Chand resident of Nandwal and recovered 55 pouches of Desi Frooties which he was carrying for illegal sale in the local area. A case vide FIR No 166/ 2016 under section 48 Excise Act was registered in Police Station Satwari.
