JAMMU: To promote the culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 118th Musical Play ‘Maa Sheran Wali’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM as a part of its regular feature here at Durga Bhawan, Janipur. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest V.K. Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity ,Government of India while J.K Raina, Producer, Director Films, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department , J&K Government and Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, J&K Government and Vinod Dogra Chief Service Engineer, Exide were the Guests of Honour. The musical play was written, produced and directed by M.L. Dogra Chairman BLSKS. The music was composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor, BLSKS. On the occasion, stress was laid on ensuring success of Swachh Bharat Mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The singers ,musicians, actors and students of Music and Computer Institute, who performed in the musical play include Usha Handoo , Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit , Hem Raj, Ritesh Magotra, Deevam Jandiyal, Shival, Surinder Verma, Aryan Verma, Salman Bhatti, Manjit Singh, Soyam, Sakshi , Ravi Kumar, Sonu Gupta, Sunil Kumar, Shan Khan, Mohammad Afroz Raz, Anil Gupta, Chahat Chadha, Pooja Gupta, Janvi Arora, Anju Jain, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Rajinder Saini, Varsha Kumari, Rupali Gupta, Sona Jamwal, Asma Gul, Manish Bali, Samiley Taniya Chahar, Sahil Gill, Kajal, Lalita, Anjana Padwal, Neelam Gandotra, Jeet Raj, Nazuk Bhagat, Rajesh Kumar and Ganshyam Yadav. Deepak Kumar presented the vote of thanks.
