JAMMU: G.D Goenka Public School conducted a plethora of Inter-House Sports activities at the campus. The sports event included swimming, table tennis and judo. Jehan Sahni of Vivekananda House brought glory to his house by outshining the other swimmers. He was followed by Satyam Mehra of Teresa, Hriday Mahajan of Radhakrishnan and Harshal Kachroo of Tagore House.
In the Table-Tennis Match, in the Singles’ category (Girls), Varnika, Nandika and Tanvi of Tagore House clinched the first position. They were closely followed by Radhakrishnan House for the second position. In the Doubles’ Match (Girls) it was the partnership of Mehak and Vidushi of Vivekananda House that bagged the first position followed by Teresa House.
In the Singles’ match (Boys) Bhuvan, Aryan, Sujal and Pranay of Teresa House brought recognition to their House with their impeccable moves. Radhakrishnan House was close at the second position.
In the Judo bouts, it was the mental, physical and psychological strength of the Vivekananda Judokas who beat against all odds to emerge the undisputed winner of the Judo Tournament followed by Radhakrishnan, Tagore and Teresa House.
All the events were conducted under the supervision of of Sandeep Jaiswal, HoD Sports.
The Principal of the School, Rajesh Rathore felt extremely happy and impressed to witness such young and talented students nurtured at one of the most reputed and prestigious chain of schools, GD Goenka.
